[He sighs.]

Very well, I'll show you.

I merely ask that you try and keep what I'm about to show you to yourself. Most of the Cybertronians here know who I am, but others do not. I prefer to keep it as such until I deem the time fit to explain myself.

[With that, the seam on Magnus' chestplate splits down the middle. The helm tilts back and the gigantic shoulders pulls apart.]

[The waist parts and the seams on his thighs split open so that Minimus Ambus can casually hop out. He straightens up before Starscream and runs a finger along his facial insignia.]

There. My armor.

[Starscream just stares.

That's it, that's all he's doing.

For an uncomfortably long time.

He's still doing it.

OH WAIT he's looking at the armor now.

Now back to Luigi.

And now he's pointing at Luigi, like he's trying to make his brain make this make sense.

Oh. Didn't see that coming.

I didn't realize there was a plural for Ultra Magnus.

[He stares for a moment longer before slouching in his seat even more and covering his face with his hands, just groaning for a moment before looking again. Nope, the little green man was still there. This wasn't another weird hallucination or Bee haunting or y'know SOMETHING THAT MAKES SENSE. Because... hallucinations make sense to Starscream I guess.]

...You know, I don't drink. I'm the kind of person who prefers to keep my mind clear and alert at all times. The more I learn about your crew, and Megatron, and just... you know, little things like this. It almost makes me want to take drinking until I'm black out drunk up as a hobby. I think everyone should have hobbies.

I feel as though 'little things like this' is a personal jab, Starscream.

...I can see how you would take it like that. Sorry.

So. This is a thing.

You seem...exhausted.

Perhaps you need to rest.

Do I? I don't know. Maybe I do. I feel like that's all I've been doing lately.

[he looks like he wants to say something else, but he hesitates. Like he isn't sure exactly what he wants to say. Y'know normal people wouldn't have a problem with this but it's STARSCREAM.]

[He leans forward and rests his elbows on his knees, rubbing at his chin like he's trying to think of just how he wants to word this.]

I've been saying this a lot more lately than I think I ever have before in my life, but. Thank you.

You are quite welcome, Starscream.

And for the record, if you've been saying 'thank you' more than you ever have, it's likely because you're finding yourself surrounded by people who actually trust you.

Reciprocation is usually the best follow up.

I don't know about all that.

Anything's worth a shot though, I suppose.

You'd be surprised how many cards mutual trust can afford you in times such as these, Starscream.

[He looks cranky about it for a moment, but then he actually stops and thinks it over. Yeah he really can't argue with that.]

[or. Something. He wasn't handling this gracefully at all but you know what that's okay sometimes.

Now see after Minimus leaves, Starscream's going to have some kind of weird Starscream freak out because that's what he does these days.]
