[and this would be Starscream opening his door a crack. Just a crack. He's still not used to getting visitors ok]

[That's more than enough, Magnus is sticking a giant Magnus-mitt into that crack and pushing the door open.]

We need to talk about the incident with Ratchet.

[Starscream stumbles back from the door because look a gigantic dude forcing his way in is a little startling okay. He backs off and puts his hands out all "chill bro"]

We've already talked about that! Haven't we? I feel like we've already been over it.

To an extent, but there's a line of questioning we haven't explored yet:

The body.

What happened to Ratchet's body.

[Starscream just groans and rubs at his face a bit. GOD he didn't want to think about this anymore.]

I don't know. I figured the medbay staff must have retrieved it, how else would they have been able to fix him up and stick him in cryo? This is about his hands, isn't it.

He told me about it, after he made that announcement. He got stuck with an old pair of hands or something, somehow. I don't understand it.

Starscream, I'm not looking to arrest you. But I need to know everything you know. Is there anything at all you can tell me?

This is for Ratchet's sake. He doesn't deserve...

[He huffs awkwardly.]

[Starscream huffs too, but it's less awkward and more super annoyed. Annoyed with himself for fucking up YET AGAIN mostly but y'know]

I can't help you! How should I know what happened with his hands!? Ever since he died I've been retracing my steps trying to find his body, I just figured the medical staff ran off with it because he's obviously not dead now!

[Look Magnus now you've got him all worked up NOW HE'S PACING AND RANTING IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED]

Besides that, we lost a whole year stuck on that planet, anything could have happened on the ship while we were gone! Even if his hands were on board before all that, there's no way of knowing if they are now! He doesn't deserve this, but I don't know what to do!

Well, there has to be something we can look into. Security feeds? If the body was collected, perhaps it was logged somewhere. Some sort of record.

I need to speak to the other Starscream about this as well. If he witnessed the murder, perhaps he saw what happened to the body as well.

If you want to try hacking into the security feeds, by my guest. That is assuming any of the footage is even still in tact after the ship was submerged underwater for a year.

[He seems to be done throwing a fit at least. He sits his ass down, rubbing at his face again UGH caring is exhausting]

I doubt he knows anything that I don't, but it's worth a shot, I guess.

[Magnus silently starts going over what he knows and what can be ascertained from these facts. He also thinks silently on hacking into the Moira's security network is a wise decision.]

[The silence lasts for several long minutes.]

[He's still on guard, but not as much as he would be if say Megatron was in here asking him shit. He's still a little twitchy though. Magnus is kind of gigantic and lets be honest when isn't Starscream paranoid.]

After the incident, you just left the body where it dropped? You didn't attempt to move it in any way?

[He doesn't answer right away, he's trying to think up a really good bullshit to make himself sound less like a heartless fuckball

but gives up and just sighs in defeat because really there's no graceful way to save this.]

I stuffed him into that closet.

[He points towards the closet near Magnus and just stares at his lap mmmmmmmmmyeaaaaaaa buddy.]

Every conversation we have continues to fascinate me.

The important thing, okay, is that you can see why I was so baffled that the body went missing! I had it right here! It was five feet away from me!

[He thumbs at the closet.]

[He's just going to sit here with his face in his hands and wonder where his live took such a drastic turn for the stupid have fun big guy. The closet is empty Starscream doesn't have nice things anymore]

[Magnus walks over to the closet and pulls the door open. He feels around for falls walls, a false back, or even a false bottom. He knocks to see if there's any hollow points and moves his hands around looking for hidden switches.]

[He's taking forever.]

[Literally an hour has passed and he's still at it.]

[Starscream watches this

and amazingly doesn't start bitching immediately. But he does eventually because he's Starscream.]

Its empty, Ultra Magnus.

At first glance.

And at second glance.

But if this closet holds the key to Ratchet's corpse and its whereabouts...

I have to be thorough.

[He swipes his fingers along the bottom...and grimaces at the dust.]

And destroy any possible clues or evidence?
